This drawing was made in response to a podcast featuring Masafumi Gotoh from Asian Kung-Fu Generation, where he apparently said he was surprised with Bocchi's and Kita's guitar skills while watching the anime.

Bocchi has experience and has been playing solo for years, so she's understandable at least.
But, Kita's progress is nuts. She has gone from not even knowing basic chords, to playing shifting bar chords WHILE singing in matter of weeks. Then she's able to improvise a riff/lick in matter of months.
