I don't think it's AI-generated for the most part. This is mostly because the artist gives alts without footwear in the Pixiv post and the artist has been active for about 2 years.

It was never approved by an Approver though (as it was posted by a Contributor). And chances that it was a self-flag.

The flag reason in itself is fine, and it's up to us approvers now to look what's actually the case.

And please don't insult approvers, even if they don't exist.

Except NitroxKnight explained why it most certainly isn't an AI piece. Seriously, we're getting to the point where anything that isn't literally children's scribbles is open to being accused of being AI-generated.

The reason I flagged it was due to some common signs I've noticed in most AI images (but too late in this image), eg: weird hand (like the left hand in this image), the muted body shading and the uneven eyes. Also, this particular artist's works have gone a drastic change in style since October (the month AI art started getting popular), so sadly, saying the artist has been active for x years means nothing nowadays. Eg: just compare this or some the artist's latest pixiv works with post #5688892.

But, then again, it could be AI-assisted with some work put in by the artist. The feet, right hand and the neck ring look okay. That's why I didn't add the AI assisted/generated tag, coz I'm not sure. Just felt that another set of (approver) eyes should take a look and judge.

You know, I dunno if the artist visits here, but I like to imagine him seeing his picture uploaded, and seeing people thinking it's AI because there are errors, and going "N-No, it's really me, sorry I screwed" with some kind of overhyped announcer going "EMOTIONAL DAMAGE" in the background.

FYI, if you're uncertain about something being AI-generated or assisted, it's better to post it in topic #22285 rather than flagging it. I can see your argument for this using the NovelAI shading style (the thigh is frankly kind of strange as well), but AI-assisted works aren't actually banned on Danbooru.
