and Sol is way older than johnny..

Actually, Noel MIGHT be the main character of BlazBlue. During a somewhat recent interview with Daisuke Ishiwatari and that other guy who made BlazBlue, Daisuke said that he identified himself the most with Sol of his cast, while the BlazBlue guy said Noel.

I'm not entirely sure how I draw this conclusion but BLAZBLUE IS THE GIRLY VERSION OF GUILTY GEAR!!!

Comparing Sol and Ragna is sort of like comparing Snake and Raiden if you think about it. Except Ragna is a little bit more man than Raiden (but only a little bit).

I hope the 3rd BB installment has BANG and HAKUMEN as the mains.

I'm saying that, should Aksys get the character development right, Noel should be the one kicking ass and taking names like Sol. Of course, that would go against Noel's standard of being the "cute girl with guns."

All this is really proving is that there are similar plot devices. Simple as that.

On the other hand. Noel for main. I'd fund it.

Act 1: Discover that the holder of the azure is Noel, Activate it. (Dizzy is found)
Act 2: Learn a bit about it, and motivate Noel to use it, protect her until she has that motivation. (Dizzy is sought)
Act 3: Final confrontation between Noel and the threat, support or defend her while she puts an end to the threat behind all this. (Dizzy puts Justice and the other gears to sleep.)

Sounds about right to me. For Ragna, act 3 is likely to be a "I may not have the azure, but I wont stand by and let this happen!" moment. If act 2 does not take that.
