Admirals are best antiheroes now. only stupid thig is they act once in 5 chapters(in Marine-Battle-Saga), rest time they just talking, standing, sleeping...
red] This guy just became the most hated person in the OP, he'd be number one in all anime if it wasn't for Sasugay, but you got to admit he's one fantastic villain, ruthless, manipulative and all mighty, the fact that he believes truthfully that what he does it's for the well being of the World makes him even better, and i know that his punishment will be EPIC
I applaud this man. He has shown the fact that people die when they are killed in One Piece instead of miraculously surviving, which if it happens all the time isn't miraculous at all. Hopefully this will be the catalyst that transforms Luffy from a boy to a man and to realize the fact that everyone you come into contact with will not be a future ally. It comes at the right time as One Piece has been stale lately. While Ace has been one of my favorites and I expected mighty deeds out of him, I cannot bring myself to hate this man who was just doing his job (one that he loves). Rest in piece Ace~

True, since know one dies i OP unless its a flashback or you one of the nameless cannon fodder who dies in epic battles. I mean how many prisoners died in the Impel Down arc from Magellan's poison?

I find it amazing anyone can hate Akainu. Yeah...he killed a loved character, but -He was performing his ideals of justice, blame the gov't he follows at least. -Ace,despite all of whitebeards pleading, did NOT let it go and leave. -In reality he had the right idea, one that any good Admiral would do. If you see two people rallying together a bunch of misfits...get rid of those guys before things get worse!
Everything this guy did was the kind of things a villain or hero SHOULD do. In the end he didn't even lose because he was stupid, rather he got flat out outclassed.
