In Japan a grave doesn't has to contain your body remains but anyway her family name is 西行寺 and that's not what the grave has write on it.

Well, the food offering is for the dead..

Eating the offerings on your own grave takes
gluttony to a whole different new level.

But I guess it's kind of logical.
The offering *was* for her, it's just that you usually don't really expect them to come and actually eat it.

Judging by the ghost above her reaction, it could be offerings for it and not her?
