reimu colour theme is red and sanae's is green i guess

Which goes well with the similar costumes and "Player 1/2" thing that I hear gets thrown around from time to time.

Mokou and Momiji sounds better since its closer to Mario and Luigi. but this would be...somewhat interesting to play.

Marisa as Wario would actually make a lot of sense, both are extremely greedy and Wario's yellow color scheme matches marisa's hair.

who'd be princess peach? tenshi? I'd laugh my heart out if genji always steal (can't find a better phrase) tenshi.

Sorry for commenting on a really old post but Id say Okuu. Both her and Bowser are powerful, shoot/breathe fire, not bright logical thinking wise but have good weaponry. Suika and Yuugi dont have much connection aside from horn(s) and being physically strong.

Also the Bowser-Okuu connection works great with Bowsers Inside Story. Fawful = Kanako, "Lucky Shroom" = Yatagarasu etc...
