It's orange, and this picture is set in dim light.

it's still obviously brown. look at the window though lol.

Who cares? You're talking about the same creative license where people keep drawing Manya with GG breasts and sometimes don't even get the characters eye/hair color even close to being right.

Frankly, I think this is one of the best Dragon Quest pictures I've ever seen and Alena looks just as good as a Brunette. Maybe even more hot.

Seconded. The way the characters are done here is very good. I've seen very good pieces of them separate, but never done this well together. Well... possibly once a long time ago, but still, this is excellent.
