    So is he implying that his "joke" was perhaps kissing her in the cheek/forehead perhaps?

    I was reviewing my favorites today and saw something that completely escaped me (and other people too) so far: In the background of the CHU! panel (the one with Nazrin) there's a very faint drawing of Rinnosuke kissing Marisa on her cheek.

    This is why Marisa puts her hand on her cheek and then looks in disbelief to it, later (panels with her thinking: "...and then, for the first time, Kourin, he...")

    Nice detail, that somehow made the comic much more heartwarming.
