No, she actually ripped him in half. When you look closely, you can see that the right part is the upper half of the body, the sword in the right hand and the shield in the left (on the far right of the picture). The lower body half is in the mouth of the dragon head to the left. We can't see the victims face, it's off-frame.
Actually, she didn't do anything at all, it was the demon/dragon that tore off his lower half. Of course, she seems to have summoned them in the first place, so... I just wonder what this would look like with 3D glasses on, hah.

It's her Gear mark. Most people don't notice it until it jumps right out at them.
