I guess it might be like that to keep people from thinking racism thoughts you know some people are going to complain about it being black and white.

Because black people aren't really black, just dark brown to very light brown.

The same as white people aren't truly white, just a palish peach or pink color.

The white pokemon was personified as a "white" human,
the black pokemon was personified as a "black" human,
it makes sense.

Except the fact that you find the white one in the black game and vice versa! Really though, it seems silly and logical. Logical in context here, but there are cases that make zero sense.

Both look fairly cool though. I really like the artist's style more than anything.
