Probably charcoal, like always. I mean, charcoal is more useless for ants than humans. We, humans, can at least use it to make a fire and warm ourselves or cook. Meanwhile, ants are more sensitive to high temperatures, as it can lead to dehydratation or even death, and they obviously can't eat charcoal.
