The Lunarians, yes. The Kappa just reappropriate what of ours they find. If they had the same resources as us or the Lunarians, they WOULD probably be more advanced though, considering how they managed to get their reappropriated stuff to WORK. (Nitori has OPTICAL CAMO, for gods sake)

Not to mention they got a fusion reactor -something we ourselves are still struggling with- working within half a year after being given a good nudge in the right direction. Granted, they had some divine help with that, but it's still damn impressive.

The fact that the temple is slanted and it's a kind of secret base reminds me of the base on the slanted ship in You Only Live Twice... I wonder if this is a reference...

Well fusion reactors are possible and we "could" build one right now, but its a matter of safety and economic sense at this point.

Fusion reactors are not only possible right now, they've already been built. There are people out there with working fusion reactors in their garage. You can build one for under 2000 USD, and they're not particularly unsafe either. The only problem is that all of the ones that have been made so far consume more energy than they produce.

A near exact parody. The original was slanted a bit before they launched Yamato for the first time. Even made reference to it in the elevator.

Murasa even parodies Okita's turn to see them enter the Main Bridge for the first time.
