Byakuren: Kyoko, N'est pas de meat and sake!

I'm guessing Kyouko isn't eating the food Kasen and Komachi prepared because of Byakuren's teachings/restrictions, and Kasen's being quizzed as to why a supposed hermit isn't being all that ascetic?

Sorcery aside she's actually a good Buddhist in canon.

Seems like Kasen doesn't fast as diligently!

I really like how they have Kyouko sticking to Buddhist dietary restrictions. Like of course she would, she lives at a Buddhist temple, but it's a detail that could be easily overlooked.

Especially considering Myouren temple has some not-quite-so-diligent buddhists, like Ichirin and her love of alcohol.
