Why you don't tag the female protagonist as white?
It's obvious that she is white because the male is black

That isn't certain yet. True, the other protagonists/rivals are named, but while the male mc is always the name of the first in the series (Red, Gold, Ruby...), the female is sometimes the third (like Blue and Platinum).
