Reminds me about hearing that in the earlier strips, Charlie wasn't such a nice guy, and perhaps deserved some of his 'good grief'.

Actually I own some of the earlier Peanuts books, and it's quite the opposite: Charlie Brown was laughed at, and put down by many of the other kids (Usually girls.). In later strips it was just Lucy who did bad things to him.

I actually expect Linus looking more geeky than this though.
