    It's parodying the term, "boyfriend-looking person in the background", for that trope where there's a male leaning up against a wall or tree in the background, with the implication that they are the boyfriend of someone else in the scene. I encountered that term previously on post #7305230, just as another example.

    Also, I guess I forgot to specify, but the exact term used in the commentary is not just sister, but "older sister". I'll update it with that.
