Title:ガラパゴス偵察機
「我ニ追イツクブン屋ナシ」
と思ったら文はジェットで置いてきぼりだったでござる。

空母への着艦を安定させるべく戦後アメリカもびっくりの最新設備を満載させたら実は空母が無かったというガラパゴス偵察機です。
あと、あくまで偵察向けで、戦闘にはまったく不向きな仕様ですし。

でも、個人的にはすごく好きです、彩雲。
何つーかこの才能の無駄遣いっぽい所が。

Title: Galapagos Reconnaissance Plane
"Just when I thought 'No newshawks can catch us,' Aya's plane turned out to be a jet (post #694375) and I was caught..."
In order to make for steadier landings on aircraft carriers, the plane was loaded with so many new features (leading edge slats, fowler and slit flaps, flying tail) that the Americans were surprised by it after the war. But once it had been finished there weren't anymore aircraft carriers left. The episode is quite reminiscent of the Galapagos syndrome with Japan's mobile phones.
Also, its fuselage was only cut out for reconnaissance, and its specifications were not suited to combat at all.
But personally I really love the Saiun .
I just love that all that ability is just kind of frittered away.
