If a post is already approved, isn't that means the post aready gone through mod queue? I mean, the mod already looked at this and approved this! Why would it need another mod queuue? I'm confused.

Not when the uploader is a contributor. Also, Granola used this feature precisely for the purpose it's here for... If the pic is good enough, it will get approved. If not, too bad. Seriously, the flag should automatically disable the comments, it would prevent lots of unnecessary drama.
