    Decisive Battle
    commission by @001_koshka

A private first class of the Imperial Japanese Army c. September 1945 (interlude to Operation Downfall, which never materialized), fielding the late say to the M1 Garand, the 7.7mm Navy-designed Type 4 rifle. On the rifle is the standard-issue Type 30 bayonet and the peculiar hinomaru yosegaki, intended to bring good luck to the owner. From the summer anti-heat shirt itself, she would be based on Kyushu in preparation of its defenses.

Awing to the chaotic state of Japan in the summer of 1945, nominally she would've been issued with an Arisaka-pattern rifle and articles dating from the late Taisho era and the earlier stages of Hirohito's rule, but priorities probably didn't matter at that point.
