Max accepted a challenge from a guy named Asher. It's been awhile since he fought a fellow male boxer. As usual, the stadium was packed full of people. Max has always been a crowd bringer. Many bet on the blond boy. But, there were some people who were excited to see how the challenger would fare. CPU candidate cared nothing about what the audience expected. He decided to play only by book.

After the gong was struck, Max headed out and began to get hang of Asher's fight style pretty early on. To his credit, Asher was pretty tenacious, scoring solid hits that got reaction out of Max here and there. He held his own against in early rounds. After eating green X leather sandwich and kissing the mat several times, the challenger touched heart of not only those who were rooting for him but also those who were skeptical about him. Even those who were cheering Max began to cheer Asher as well. Throughout his career, Max had been an underdog at least during his early days. In this match, the challenger took the role of underdog. Max almost felt like he was fighting himself because Asher kept rising up and fighting like he used to. Still, tenacity delayed only inevitable when the gap was crystal clear.

While Max enjoyed this match and Asher's fighting spirit, he felt compelled enough to put the challenger out of misery. He pressured Asher with a barrage of punches, making Asher turtled up. After Asher was pushed against the ropes, Max drilled a sharp hook to his side and caused him to loose his guard. Then, he smashed through the purple gloves and struck Asher's jaw. As sound of that blow echoed throughout the place, his head was launched all the way up, and his purple mouthpiece flew across the audience seat. Then, he slowly slid on the ropes, dropped to his knees and then kissed the mat. The referee didn't even count, but immediately waved his hands and called off the match. While the result was what most people expected, they still couldn't help but admire Asher's fighting spirit. Perhaps, he would do better in rematch. That was impression they got. That included Max who would gladly welcome rematch if requested.

Note: I remember someone really wanting to see this matchup. So, I decided to fulfill that wish while finally commissioning this artist.
