On the other hand, perhaps this book contains everything that Koa was ment to be but never was. All the things that we don't know about Koa.
As for why Sakuya is hitting her with it...well, maybe Sakuya figures that if Koa had more character development, she might be in the running for a playable character slot down the line, and Sakuya wants to eliminate as much competition as possible.
