Check the rifle again. If I'm not mistaken, theres a hammer and the place where it should go. Theres on fuse in the mechanism either so it being a matchlock is ruled out.

There were matchlocks that featured a hammer-like mechanism similar to the pic. This included the Tanegashima matchlock that saw some heavy use way back when, and which looks fairly close to the gun Mami's holding here.
