He gives em superpowers, gives em a FREE WISH THAT CAN BE ANYTHING, and just adds a rule that they have to fight witches now to survive instead of eating, and they STILL bitch and moan about it. He didn't even STEAL their souls, just put them in something smaller.
They got off LUCKY with that deal! But nooooo. Booooo-hoooooo.

He just held it out on you until you become a witch. "You never asked 'am I absolutely, positively, 100% going to become a grief-ridden witch with no way of reversing it as the repayment for my service?' I would have answered (likely with half-truths) if you did in a clear format."
