Ik this specific image was inspired by the all the NTR stuff, but where did that come from? If it's just NTRfags who like the idea of Astolfo being the bull, then you'd expect him to just be drawn with whatever random character the artist felt like drawing him with. It’s pretty clear from the fact these were uploaded that what people want to see is Raikou and Astolfo getting it on.

You are correct that people shouldn’t be obsessing over this stuff, even if you’re not quite living up to those ideals yourself. Fortunately, there’s an easy solution: the blacklist. Just put both characters on the same line (and maybe throw in hetero, netorare, etc. on that same line) and these posts will magically disappear. Raikou x Astolfo shippers can enjoy the art in peace without seeing “ew” spammed on them, while you can pretend the ships you don’t like don’t exist. Everyone wins.

I'll admit saying “ew” was childish and meant as a joke—but I still stand by my opinion. This ship just isn’t for me, and I have every right to express that, just like others have the right to enjoy it.

As for the suggestion to just block it—I already did. I only came back here to remind the people in this thread who are capable of thinking critically that they can be the change they want to see and make fujimaru x raikou art for our enjoyment just like u are having fun with this ship.

I’ll have to disagree. What happened here, in my view, is simply an artist sharing what they enjoy—Raikou x Astolfo—just like I’ll be posting Raikou x Fujimaru art. That’s not censorship; it’s participation. I’m not trying to silence anyone—I just want both sides to freely post what they like. The internet’s a big place. Let people decide what they enjoy most, or let both coexist. There’s room for everyone.

You're right, and I agree—people should be able to share opinions without it getting toxic. I went too far with that comment about the artist’s appearance, and I apologize.

That said, I still find the ship off-putting because of the context. If it weren’t for that, I might like it—Astolfo is cute and could fit with raikou as a wild ship—but it feels fetishized now, and that’s not something I enjoy seeing. I just think Raikou x Fujimaru is way more wholesome, and I’m allowed to feel that way.
