It could also be the yuri-couple route with Yuma being adopted (although in Japan, same-sex couples can't adopt, so one of them has adopted the child, if you want to be anal about Japanese law).
But it could also be, that since the world of Puella Magi Madoka Magica is, through the sacrifice of the magical girls, more advanced technologically, that the magical girls caused also a socio-political advancements, namely adoption right in Japan for same-sex couples.
