This is a Vanillaware game, where strong people are walking mountains of muscle and are at least trice as large as a normal human. Even the dwarves. And I think that's pretty cool, actually. It certainly fits the epic (as in the actual meaning of the word, and not the watered down internet usage) feel they are always going for.

Both the Sorceress & the Amazon have toned-down proportions, actually. (Yes, they're that exaggerated)

I literally laughed when I saw the sorceress in-game for the first time. Her breasts probably had it's own animation team.
