My Bad. Accidentally voted you down as I was scrolling and reading. I agree and find it refreshing that Marisa is able to deduce the strength of her new found power and use it to her advantage with skill.
Reimu still has the might of being talented and maybe can get out of the disadvantaged position. Having the power of the gods and her seeing the way Sanae used her power might give her even more ideas of her own invention whilst dealing with Marisa's technique.
