or if you want to look at it in a different perspective... Yuyuko in PCB was Stage 6 and was tough. since obviously ZUN changed the spells around for yuyuko for Ten Desires for her stage 1 appearance, if he didn't then imagine how tougher the other stages would be... thats the feeling im getting from this game

I got the impression that Yuyuko's fight in Ten Desires was basically the Gensokyo equivalent of a handshake, while in Perfect Cherry Blossom she was seriously defending herself. It's not a demotion as much as she's holding back.
