Hopefully I fixed up that double translation issue. I picked the notes I felt made a bit more sense, syntax wise. Thanks for the hard work, ChaosKnight and Moonspeaker.

Yuuka popped up as the random mother of a random Medicine so the in-laws have to be Kanako/Suwako.

Slightly, but if you follow the link, you'll see it's both A) semi-fine dining that has no resemblance to prison food, and B) kitschy to the point of nearly being a haunted house; if the slideshow is to be believed, there are skeletons wearing jumpsuits and mysterious bloodstains that glow in the dark. Sort of like a Planet Hollywood, but for prisons.

Now we just have to find out what the conceits used by Gatten and Bistro Church are...

Edit: Found Bistro Church. http://www.bistro.cc/ From the slideshow, I'd guess the main conceit is "wedding chapel", which is definitely at odds with the haunted-prison-style one. I wonder if the real difference is that Sanae is looking for fine dining, while Hitoshi is more inclined to what would be called meat-and-potatoes on this side of the Pacific. (I wonder what he'd make of Shepherd's Pie...)

Edit 2: More Nagoya specialties: http://www.ncvb.or.jp/en/contents/sightseeing/gourmet/

And Gatten is here. Funny how a concept doubtlessly used by a handful of maid cafes in Akihabara becomes high-class when you add some dramatic lighting and a few props.

The beauty of presentation. When a pasta cooked by cheap ingredients is served on a porcelain bowl with diamond studded fork on oval glass table, the price rose up easily by 300-400%. Human's psychology on perceiving value and beauty by the looks, I guess.

Well, the money for that expensive tableware has to come from somewhere, and whoever bought it is going to want a return on that investment. The same goes for training the workers-- a chef can do more with the same ingredients than a less educated or experienced cook.

I kind of wonder, though, if Kogasa can find the food she likes at the restaurants Sanae wants to visit.

The restaurant also needs to pay employees enough for them not to steal that plate.

In the last panel, for a minute I thought Remilia's wing was talking.

Well, since our Kōchi schedule got cut short, what say we go to Nagoya instead?
Since it's inland, we should be able to travel there even during a typhoon.
    Nagoya!
    Let's go!!
    Nagoya!!
Kangoku in Shoku Literally "prison in eat", though it's meant to be "eat in prison". This is a themed restaurant where customers experience eating quality food in prison.
    Are we all going?
Bistro Church A restaurant themed after a wedding chapel/reception.
Tranquility Pub Gatten Literally, "Moon Heaven". A Shinto-themed bar and restaurant, complete with shrine maidens tending bar.
I get the feeling you two have subtly different goals...
Fried pork cutlet dipped in miso sauce.
Mini rice balls with shrimp tempura inside, a famous dish in Nagoya.
It'll be like you planned to go! Air Sightseeing Guide
    A Kakashi Spirit News Extra
Eel served in a giant bowl that's usually used to contain cooked rice.
