Oddly enough, because it took me so long to bother to check YouTube, I keep thinking of Kyubey's voice not as its canon cutesiness, but more along the lines of Lee Chaolan, Testament (NIGHTMARE CIRCULAR!), and (at least English version) Tenebrae. At least that kind of voice would go better with the cigar...

Edit: PH is more of the stalker-nuance of juxtaposing a lovestruck Homura and a paranoid Madoka, than the pool's usual direct material. Just in case the pool is meant to be just direct material.
