Reminds me of this dish I had and a nice Italian restaurant. Penne with Italian Sausage. It didn't look hot, but holy @$@%@#$#^@#$^@#$ hell you couldn't taste anything but the heat.

    "Test your luck Takoyaki"
I don't believe kogasa actually eat that
    Consider her luck
and Sanae actual order something like that
    Consider her husband luck

Sanae probably tipped the waiter to make sure Kogasa got the super spicy plate.

There's nothing tasty about the ghost chili. I've tried it at a restaurant, and it was quite possibly the worst thing I've put in my mouth.

Milk also works quite nicely, since it envelops the capsaicin molecules on your tongue and mouth.

Milk doesn't envelop them, the capsaicin just dissolves in the milk fat. Capsaicin isn't water-soluble, but fat-soluble, which is why drinking water only works for the brief period when the cold water engages the receptors, and then it gets worse.

For that matter, a little laundry detergent would probably do the trick quite nicely, since the envelopment process between caseins in milk and alkylbenzenesulfonates in detergent (micelle formation) is basically the same, at the molecular level.

I guess it depends what 'tasty' means exactly in this context: is it the opposite of tasting bad, or of being bland (no taste)? The Naga Jolokia does indeed have taste.

Based on the speech bubble's color, Kogasa still tried to talk as to who got the spicy one to avoid getting caught. What do they call that again?

Be that as it may, I believe I'd rather have milk in my mouth.

I recall a segment in Mythbusters that focused on other means of suppressing capsaicin/chili, which as I recall, nothing beats milk. They tried different methods and items, including petroleum jelly and wasabi(!!)

Great idea. Been shot? Let someone stab you, see if it helps. Though it does work with methyl alcohol poisoning and booze.

I more or less knew this fact from a Food Network show Food Detectives.

Eating or drinking any dairy products usually work, just stay away from water. It only makes it worse.
I've found that drinking juice with little or no water or anything eating citrus-y works well too, but dairy is better.

S-...so, I wonder who got the super-spicy one?
    Tremble
    Shake
Quit pushing yourself and drink some water.
With such a nasty fate, why is the rain...
    Loads of Tabasco
So you're ordering stuff like that again...
Apparently one of them is super-spicy!
It's called "Test Your Luck Takoyaki"!
    Well, bon appetit!♡
