I was going to say the same thing. Maybe the artist is looking forward to the game and this is a homage? And not just the hands but also the feet.

There's no mention of Deus Ex on the pixiv page, but CRYSIS was added by a user, for whatever that's worth.

Oho, so my guess wasn't off then. Just look at the fourth page of this short doujin and you will read "Maximum speed" and "Maximum Strengh". This can be linked to the suit in Crysis, which "says" just the same whenever you switch to your suits abilities.

With that said, it's still a bit strange since in Crysis it's just a suit while in Deus Ex it's an artificial limb. I think both are right.

I know this is supposed to be all tragic and stuff, but their reactions are so in-character that it's hilarious.

This was quite a disturbing read. So Cybernetic K-on group and a Tsumugi that her brain was transplanted.
