well, if plans don't work, then Tankchouli should barrier Reimu instead (can't believe Reimu didn't foresee that Patchy can use the same powers Reimu used the first time she got pinned in this match, unless Reimu was under too much stress to think right now).

Also, if Remilia recovered herself, there's still a chance that Marisa also comes, even though she has overexercised herself and is an human, as opposed to a vampire.

So far, Reimu and Remilia haven't been cooperating, which can mean two things: either they'll get beaten, or they'll start cooperating and somehow win this match (and hopefully not underestimate their other opponents, and learning from these four. I guess Reimu would rival Tenshi's tankiness, but still I want to see how people with matchup disadvantage would deal with Tenshi and Okuu -- and avenge Byakuren's defeat.. and Shou's failures at deciding that match twice)

edit: (after translation) ohnoes, clever Reimu took advantage of Patchy's asthma, this means that Nitori can't recharge herself and Marisa can't cool herself down now. Maybe they'll attack together? (and maybe Patchy has just deceived Red 75%?)

with Patchy down it seems likely that Marisa, Nitori and Alice will have to play their last card, the question is if it will be enough to take down those two goliats Reimu and Remi fot them it is the now or never moment.

That was so anticlimactic. Why bother making everyone excited with the Alice+Patchy combo if you're just going to end it after 2 comics?

Reimu learned her lesson well (countering strikes with grapples). Unfortunately for Patchouli, she can't handle a sleeper hold all that well at all. I think things will fall apart shortly for Kirisame familiars, most of their plans have been countered or endured, one of the batteries is out cold, and the last is using up her energy on something else. That's not even including the main figures with one burnt out and the other running flow on energy. It'd take a lunarian-level asspull for Kirisame Familiars to win this.

Ah. I didn't think of this being a "just as planned" kind of scenario. Could be... could be... We saw how much audience support influenced the match between Pyramid Volcano and Hourai Master/Servant Combination after all.

Man, I'm out of town for a few days and everything goes even more ridiculous than usual. Marisa wastes our last opportunity to see her fight Reimu on even ground (as I expected), Patchy uses a plan that relies on her having physical strength, Reimu points out what we all realized about Marisa's speech back when she gave it and this somehow makes her a bad person, Remilia suddenly remembers that Patchy isn't the only person who knows things about other people, Nitori's plot-dependent power level has decided it's time for her to be helpless for a while, and all six participants appear on the same page.

First panel: Remi's left hand is reaching THROUGH THE ROPES.

this is clearly not the end to this. bad storytelling abound and whatnot, but there is no way that this kind of fight would have this pathetic an ending.

PREPARE FOR MORE PULLED OUT OF THE ASS BULLSHIT.
now, if only the Reimu/Remelia portions of this fight would get interesting.
