This is either a fascinating display of how the connotations of words can drift, or of me being a moron and not speaking Japanese, English or 15 as well as I think.
The Japanese line literally says "karisuma", so "charisma" in katakana. Now, I might be wrong right off the bat, but the word sounds kinda slangy to me in Japanese and comparatively stiff in English, so I thought the literal translation didn't fit Marisa's casual manner. And even though we actually have a slang word that's short for "charisma", somehow "rizz" has its own baggage and "aura" seems closer.
