Revised the title because it's a pun: 魅魔違い (mistaking Mima) vs. 見間違い (misjudgment), both pronounced "mimachigai".

Actually, we'll find out about 24 hours from now. 6pm EDT is 7am the next day in Japan, though IDK what time of day Comiket opens.

Comiket opens at 10 am, so in 26 and a half hours from NOW.

That said, there's still the time that takes for someone to go back home and then announce the characters. They could spend the whole day there, which means even more time to wait.

I wonder how long it'd take for a Touhou fan to find all the starring characters of the game...

But I've been wondering... Where does it state Mima's Death?
I know in TH6 Marisa refers to her in past tense, but where and why and what happened???

What are you talking about, mate? Mima hasn't been referred to at all in the Windows series. (That, and Mima's always been dead, being a ghost/evil spirit and all...)

She did appear in the Windows series, just not a major appearance.

I don't really see it, sorry. Weirdos At Night seems too generic to be a reference to Mima, unless I'm missing something.

Mima was at full power during the full moon. The night of the Scarlet Mist incident was during a full moon.

Considering Reimu's first line is pretty much exactly what Marisa said, that seems pretty likely.

ZUN said in an interview, though I don't know which one, that he didn't like putting old characters in new games because he didn't want to answer the question of "where have they been all this time?" He'd rather make new characters instead. This is understandable, and I see nothing wrong with it.

Normally there'd be nothing wrong with it, but Yuuka seems to have done it without issue.

This happened SO many times already and I still don't see that 4th panel coming.

Maybe she's hiding in plain sight as Tojiko

Makes me wonder if Mima passed on in tani's universe considering how she is always in a nightmare and Marisa flips our everytime she sees her. PTSD maybe?
