Danbooru is an anime image board. This is not anime. The "poor quality" reasoning for deletion means the artistic quality is not up to the standards of the site. Also, artists are not allowed to post their own artwork on here.

Except self-upload is allowed on Danbooru. They may not be actively encouraged, and the threshold of them being approved is higher than the usual artworks, but they still are just as allowed as other artworks that aren't deleted.

The threshold isn't actually higher, it's just that some Approvers are still biased against them. Officially, we don't care whether they're self-uploads or not as long as the quality is good.
