Cirno is associated with watermelons because she keeps them cool and refreshing/delicious just by being nearby. This goes doubly so for when she's in the water with them.
from the look of it, the watermelons are on top of the waterfall and cirno was just chilling under the waterfall when a watermelon fell on her head, thus the surprised reaction from Daiyousei and the lol from Rumia.
