I got what I think is a decent replacement (original audio, though the video is a CG version of the original cel animation), but in case the new link ever goes dead, here's some basic info to help find another version:

The song is called "Ningen tte Ii na", or "Humans are Nice". It's the ending theme to a mid-'80s anime series called Manga Nippon Mukashi-banashi, or Manga Japanese Folktales. The song's memetic status is mentioned here. Here's one translation of the lyrics, taken from a cover version used for Idolm@ster.
