When a character's head is hit with bullets, arrows or other projectile weapons. Usually fatal or severely wounding unless the weapon is non-lethal, the head is protected or the victim can somehow regenerate health.
Do not confuse with an alternate term for photos focusing on the face (portrait or upper body).
