Rule:
Characters are from a single stage (ex: post #599038)
Characters can be from multiple stages (Like 3 Stage 1 and 3 Stage 4) but cannot have one that's out of place (3 Stage 1 and 1 Stage 4) (ex: post #721271)
In the case of comics, it should make a point of pointing out that's most of the ex/stage x-bosses there. (ex: post #802620)
For stages with shared bosses, any combination of them counts as one character.
ex: Any combination of Prismriver Sisters (Lyrica/Lunasa/Merlin), Crazy Backup Dancers (Satono/Mai), Getsu Sisters (Mugetsu/Gengetsu) and similar cases counts as one character each.
Characters who appeared as the main boss in different stages can be placed in either (ex: Yuuka as 5th or 6th boss or Yuyuko as 1st or 6th boss)
Backwards counting is allowed for the last two stages. (ex: Marisa, Chiyuri, Komachi and Iku among the 5th stage bosses)
Characters who appear as mid-stage-only bosses (as Koakuma, Kisume, and Lily White) can appear as part of that stage group, but they are usually bundled together as Mid-Stage, regardless of which stage they were the midboss of. The general exception is EX and Phantasm-Stage midbosses, who tend to qualify under whatever stage they originally featured in.
