His fondness for mecha is so severe that he would sooner flirt with a female mecha (i.e. Valsione) than a normal girl, to the point where he doesn't notice other girls' crushes on him (i.e. Latooni Subota and Mai Kobayashi). His myopia has even led him to ogle the Angelg over its pilot Lamia Loveless...
