An American film studio, founded in 1912. They're the world's largest major film studio and a member of the "Big Five" major American film studios. They also operate a range of Universal Studios theme parks. Universal's most commercially successful film franchises include Fast & Furious, Jurassic Park, Back to The Future and Despicable Me. Additionally, the studio's library includes many individual films such as Jaws and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, both of which became the highest-grossing films of all time during their initial releases.
