A level boss character from the Strider (video game) arcade machine released by Capcom in 1989.

Anihilate Uroboros is a massive robot monster with an elongated serpent like body and a humanoid upper section, armed with a hammer and sickle in both hands.

Its name comes from the Ouroboros (or Uroborus), an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. The name originates from within Greek language; οὐρά (oura) meaning "tail" and βόρος (boros) meaning "eating", thus "he who eats the tail".

Inspired by the real life Ouroboros, a symbol that represents the perpetual cyclic renewal of life, infinity and the eternal return. It also represents the cycle of life, death and rebirth, leading to immortality (as in the phoenix myth).
