A series of metallic statues of nude, muscular men wearing phallic-shaped helmets displayed in front of the Alpensia Ski Jumping Center in Pyeongchang, South Korea. The statues reached memetic status in Japan during the 2018 Winter Olympics, where a broadcast featured them as an establishing shot of the center.
The Japanese net quickly warmed up to them, giving them the nickname "Morugessoyo" (モルゲッソヨ; a transliterated version of 모르겠어요 moreugesseoyo, Korean for "I don't know"). They were later adapted as a feature of petrification fetish works.
