A major Dragon Ball character. One of the original Dragon Team members, her meeting Goku kicking the story off. The daughter of Dr. Brief (whose name was rendered as Dr. Briefs in the original English localization, leading many Western fans to assume it was a surname, and not his given name).

Her original voice actress Tsuru Hiromi passed away in November 2017, and was replaced by Hisakawa Aya.

She is known to change outfits and hairstyles throughout the series, leading to many official alternate costumes and official alternate hairstyles.

Her first appearance has her hair in a braided ponytail, a red hair bow, a pink dress with her name written on the front, and "97" on the back, purple socks, and blue sneakers.
