An edible plant, eaten as a vegetable. Take note in the appearance of a cabbage, large heads of compact leaves-round or elongated. There is a thick stalk running from the bottom of the cabbage to the top leaves.
Though often cooked, cabbage can be used raw for fermented recipes.
