A food with a spicy sauce, initially in Indian cuisine, and eventually internationalized. Many curries are found in the cuisines of Southeast Asia and East Asia.
In Japanese cuisine, it is usually eaten (and depicted in anime) as "curry rice," a portion of rice served with curry on top.
