Dark Pit, known in Japan as Black Pit, is a major character in Kid Icarus Uprising.
Dark Pit is the dark persona of Pit and his primary rival. He was created after Pit destroyed the Mirror of Truth. He is nicknamed "Pittoo" (in English releases), "Tip" (in some European releases), or "Burapi" (in Japanese releases) by Palutena and Pit. Depending on the current situation or agenda, Dark Pit will act as an enemy or ally to Pit.
