Gachiakuta (ガチアクタ) is a 2022 grind fiction shounen manga series written and illustrated by Urana Kei with additional graffiti design by Hideyoshi Andou. The protagonist Rudo lives in the slums with his adopted father Regto. One day on the way home from scavenging, Rudo finds his dying father, victim of murder. He is found at the scene, charged, and convicted of his father's murder, then sentenced to be thrown into the Abyss, the massive hole where all trash is dumped - including him. Surviving the dumping, he discovers the surface world, filled with monsters made out of trash, and becomes a Cleaner - someone who can combat these beasts.
It began serialization in Kodansha's Weekly Shounen Magazine on February 16, 2022. As of August 2025, the series' individual chapters have been collected into sixteen volumes. An anime adaptation by Bones Film aired from July 6, 2025 to December 21, 2025. A second season has also been commissioned.
A digital simulpub in English has been ongoing through K Manga. The volumes have been published by Kodansha USA since January 16, 2024. It has also been released in German by Altraverse since April 17, 2023, and in Italian by Edizioni Star Comics since October 4, 2023.
