Ghost Rider is a supernatural antihero in the Marvel universe. The first Ghost Rider was Johnny Blaze, a stunt motorcyclist who was imbued with the power of hellfire after a deal with the Devil, Ghost Rider takes the form of a biker with a flaming skull for a head that rides a hellish motorcycle that can do impossible feats.

He also has super-human strength and the power to lock eyes with an enemy and make them feel all the pain they have inflicted upon others, a power known as the "Penance Stare".

In 1990, Johnny was replaced by Danny Ketch, the second Ghost Rider, who was later revealed to be Blaze's long lost brother. Ketch has similar powers like his brother but uses a modern motorcycle and gear. Johnny would later take the mantle of Ghost Rider again in the 2000s and lead a new superhero group with powers similar to him called The Ghost Riders.

Not to be confused with Robbie Reyes, the lastest Ghost Rider in the comics.

Nicolas Cage played Johnny Blaze in the 2007 live action film Ghost Rider and its 2012 sequel, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. Johnny Blaze also appears in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Agents of Shield where he was responsible for turning Robbie Reyes into a Ghost Rider after making a deal with the former to save he and his brother's lives due to an accident cause by a drive-by shooting.
